TEENS [14- to 17-year-old teenagers]:
Why learn English?Because in an ever more united Europe, English has become the universal language of communication. Making sure our children can communicate effectively and effortlessly in English is essential to giving them a good and proper education, not to mention indispensable for a rich social life and a prosperous future professional career.
Our methodology & goals:
Basic principles of our method throughout the TEENS cycle:- We strive to create a cosy and encouraging environment.
- We only speak English in the classroom.
- We base the classes on oral production and comprehension, not to mention on interactive participation.
- We stimulate your teens to always ask questions in English and to reply to questions in English.
- There is variety in our teaching.
At HELLO we understand that learning English means exposing oneself to a new culture and, by the same token, exposing oneself to different ways of seeing the world and doing things. At HELLO we believe this enriches the classroom environment and see this as an excellent opportunity to teach young people universal values such as tolerance, acceptance and mutual respect.
At HELLO we always take your teenagers’ likes and dislikes into account. In so doing, as we practice speaking more intensely and introduce more complex grammatical structures into the syllabus, we always try and keep it all in a context that is closely related to the day-to-day reality of your teenagers.
Throughout the TEENS cycle we only use English as the language of communication in the classroom to guarantee a better education. On finishing the TEENS cycle, your teenagers are ready for the Cambridge PET or First Certificate exam, giving them a clear advantage over their high school friends and mates.
At HELLO we are very aware of the fact that your teenagers come to our language school after a long hard day at “normal school”. That is why we always try our hardest to have lively, dynamic classes with all sorts of activities that will get your boys and girls participating actively in class and learning while still having fun.
